Walmart
Have you ever shopped at Walmart and bought something? I am sure sometimes. My family has shopped to Walmart several times as well. I was at Walmart this weekend and I was wondering why the products are cheaper than other retail stores, why there are so many customers there, and why there are huge varieties of products. I did some research and this is what I found. Walmart runs chains of large discount department stores and warehouse stores. The first Walmart was opened by Sam Walton and his wife Helen Walton; they used 95%of their money to open it in Rogers, Ark. Walmart’s founder Sam Walton traveled the country studying everything he could about discount retailing; he got convinced that buyers wanted a new type of store. That’s how he got Walmart, the store were you get products that have the lowest possible prices available, guaranteed satisfaction, friendly knowledgeable service, and a pleasant shopping experience. In the 1970s Walmart Headquarters in Bentonville, Ark opened. Today there are 8,500 stores in 15 countries, under 55 different names. Walmart are able to make profits by selling in large quantities. Walmart is the largest retailer store in America. Now that you know some facts about Walmart tell me if you have ever shopped at Walmart and what did you buy? Dear Shrirang,
I am sure Walmart is a great place to shop at. I have shopped at Walmart but I like Target better. Walmart is making their prices low because they want people to buy from their shop more but actually they are trying to bankrupt the other stores like Target, or Staples and stores like that. Another thing is that they don't have good customer service as I've seen in all the Walmart's I have been to. All-in-all there are come very winsome subjects about Walmart.

Hey Shri, I have been to Walmart only once. I bought an "Omnitrix" toy for Halloween some time back. Otherwise, I have never been to Walmart.

Your blog was terific! I learned many things such as who opened the first Walmart.(Sam Walton) I also can't believe that there are so many Walmarts in this area.
I shopped at Walmart about 1 or 2 times. At Walmart I bought silly bands and leotards. :)
*leotards are a fancy way to say ballet suits

Wow, your post is very interesting! Walmart also matches prices . The only bad thing is that sometimes you have to buy in bulk and sometimes that can be a real pain. Especially if it expires like bananas or fruit. Sometimes buying in bulk can be good. I do not shop at Walmart usually but Target is close to the same. We can also get to Target much faster.
I have only been to Walmart a few times, but when I went, it was a huge store with low prices. The checkout lines were long, but they had like everything I needed. Everything we bought was very high quality, and it wasn't expensive at all. Nice post Shrirang!

I have shopped in Walmart before and for my birthday my parents got me a bike from there, the bike was really cool.I also like shopping in Walmart but I don't really go there all the time.I think you worked hard and researched a lot about Walmart.It is very interesting to learn about new facts.

I have been to Walmart except I like Target just like Wasi wrote. A lot of Walmart's items are clothing. Walmart is a pretty cool store. It sounded like you know a lot about Walmart!

I learned a lot including this: that Sam Walton guy wasted his money, because his business might have failed, and then if that had happened he would have run out of money. I have shopped at Walmart about five times or else i mostly shop at target or other stores. But Walmart is a okay shop for me i think a different way from my mom.

I have been to Walmart for a lot of times so I do not remember all the things that I bought. I only remember I bought a whole pack of Sharpies, some Halloween candies, shampoo, soap..... As you can see, we used some $.

My family rarely goes to Walmart anymore. The reason is because it is far away from are house so we don't go there. Your post was awsome. Anyways, I found this on somebody's page in an online game. Here are my favorites. 101 ways to be kicked out of Walmart:
Look right into the security camera, use it as a mirror and pick your nose.
Hide in a clothing rack and when people browse through, say “PICK ME! PICK ME!”
See what you can “catch” by casting fishing poles into different isles.
Drape a blanket around your shoulders and pretend to be superman.
Have sword fights with tubes of wrapping paper.
Follow people.
Make a pillow fort.
Make up nonsense products and ask newly hired employees if there any in stock, i.e., “Do you have any Shnerples here?”
Leave Cheerios in Lawn and Garden, pillows in the pet food aisle, etc.
Pay with pennies for an expensive product, then lose count and recount.
Switch price tags to make it look like a grill is $.99 and a bag of candy is $499, etc.
Duct tape things to the floor, walls, etc. that don’t belong there.
Go to sleep on the floor.
“Accidentally” knock over displays.
Shoot rubber bands/hair ties at customers.
Run around in circles until you fall down.
Have a friend push you in a shopping cart while shouting the British are coming! The British are coming!

I like this store that Crystal told me about when we were going to Jasmine's birthday party. It's called Hilltops. There's so many cute stuff there! Have you realized me and Crystal holding a bag of something mysterious...and it turns out to be...TOFU!!! We all know it's super cute for Jasmine to say "tofu!" so Crystal bought her a tofu for her birthday. It also has other cute stuff like cute penguins and octopuses...CUTE!!! I really want to go there.

you did a great job on your research about Walmart. I learned new things about the store.Personally, I went only few times to buy some things, but my favorite store is Target. At Target you have a large variety of thing and most for a good price.
