Well, you might think sometimes you have too much homework, you’re too bored to do it, or you don’t like it. And maybe you think: Why do we even have homework? We have homework because homework helps us learn. If we don’t
learn, then you will become not so smart. If you have trouble doing your homework, you can ask yor parents, your teacher, or your siblings (of course not your younger sibling) to help you. You do not want to bring your homework near a dog or it may eat it.
True! Homework does stink! To much homework can make your brain think that homework is some sort of poison and makes you have phobia to homework. All you think is “homework stinks, homework stinks, homework stinks” and you don’t even pay any attention to the homework. You should always take a rest after every 30 minutes you do homework. Don’t take a long rest; only take a maximum of five minute of a rest may calm you down for doing that entire homework strait.
False! Homework also does not stink! You can’t learn anything without homework! Don’t think homework is just some sort of chore that your parents or teacher forces you to do because you’re bored. They want you to learn. Homework includes tips and strategies and exercises your brain. Your brain cannot be sleeping all day. It needs exercise just like our normal body. We have to wake up for school, right? It’s the same thing for a brain. You can’t let it sleep all day and do nothing, exercise it! It practices your knowledge so the next time you do the same kind of work, you won’t have to think, “what is this?” because you already learned and practiced it in your homework. If you have some problems doing you’re homework, here are some tips that may help you on your homework:
- Remove distractions - Do homework in a quiet place that does not have distractions. Turn off the TV; don't expect to do homework in a room where siblings are playing.
- Establish a routine - Set a specific "homework time" such as right after supper.
- Require that homework should be complete before you can watch T.V, use the computer, etc.
- Prioritize - Encourage to work first on those assignments that are due tomorrow. Then tackle the tasks that are due later. Help yourself plan your studying so that projects are not left until the last minute. An assignment book can be a big help with this.
- Check understanding - Be sure you understand new assignments before you start working on them. This one can save lots of late-evening tears!
- Get organized for tomorrow - Remind yourself to pack the backpack before going to bed. Even the best homework effort doesn't do much good if it's left on the kitchen table!
- Don’t Get Rushed! – Getting rushed puts you to more pressure! Use your time wisely, but don’t be like a slow snail!

It get me so bored and it is just junk to me. I can just memorize what we learn, but homework is a stress to me. Specially if I don't finish it or give it in at the right time, I'll be in homework club!:(
True cause sometimes I'm stuck on one problem and I really want to finish that problem but i don't get it and my mom is helping my little sister and I can't do it so I skip it but I don't understand it. Also homework takes at least one hour to two hours and I really want to get it over with so I struggle and rush and don't get a good grade and do a sloppy work. So I believe that you should give us less homework so we do a nice job, but I think homework is a pain for us to think as much as we can but don't get it. This a great post! HOMEWORK DOES STINK!

I don't feel that I am rushed when doing homework. I mean, I would rather have a neatly done homework done at homework club then have to put up with a very messy paper that the teacher would probably make you do again. My dog would never eat my homework. He just likes to eat things with taste in them and paper is not one of them. I am fine with homework as long as I have enough time for it. Homework does not stink! I like it a lot. It helps tech you a lot of things that the teachers might not be able to teach. So you should not insult homework that way. It is very rude and it shows that you are irresponsible. You should always do your homework no matter what.
I don't know which side to pick true or false. When I pick false, then I won't learn anything. Then everyone will be mad. Then when I pick true, too much studying will make my head have a headache and that will make me not want to go to school. Children will then want to go to homework club then having a headache. You will then rush through your homework and get everything wrong including not doing your homework. Then you will go to homework club. No one wants to go to homework club? No!! Right?!?

Homework is fine to me. It takes me about 30minutes-1hour a day. Sometimes it's a little rushed if I get three assignments on Thursday because my sister has piano class and comes back around 5:10. Then it's dinner and I have to take a shower, practice piano, and then do homework. If I don't understand something I simply ask my sister for help. It depends what subject I need help on.
I don't agree that homework stinks. I think that homework is important for children so that they could improve their skills in whatever subject the homework is about. It will help children prepare for tests as well in a way. If you don't do homework your education level could fall which is not a good thing. That's why we should all do homework. It also helps us occupy our time so that we have something to do and don't have to just sit around there doing nothing.
Hey Annie! :D I think homework does not stink. Well, sometimes it does! Yeah, you're right, don't do homework with any distractions around. If you do, then you will get distracted and not focus properly. Sometimes, homework does stink because you have to spend a lot of time sitting in front of your desk trying to get the work done. Now, for me, I have to face homework for TWO schools. One is my Sunday School(I get a lot of homework from here) and I have homework for regular school. That's why I usually try to use common sense to get the work done faster!

I think homework does *not* stink because the homework that you get from your teacher helps you prepare for tests of whatever you are going to learn about tomorrow. you can also learn new things from homework that you didn't know already
I think homework does not stink. It really helps you for tests or exams. It also could be really fun and exercises your brain. It also sharpens your skills. If there was no homework, you would probably get a bad job when you grow up.

True! Homework do stink. It gets me very bored. To me, it's a big time waster. I makes my brain all confused.
It is also a junk to me. Plus, it is a big stress to me. Sometime, if I wait till the day before it is due, I have to stay up to 11:00 or 12:00. Sometime even more! If I don't finish the homework or forget to do it, I go to homework club. Which makes me very angry. I only like it if it is fun. For example, spelling homework stink because we have to write it in cursive and make a sentence that matches the definition. Sometime we also have to write the definition for all fifteen words. We also have to sort the words into groups. The only homework I like is science homework.
It is more fun then the rest. I like science homework because we get to make circuits. That is why science homework rocks and the rest is boring.

Nice blog Annie homework does not stink and I like all the subjects but sometimes I feel like I have alot of homework I take brakes and eat something I always love speeches because I get to express myself and then I get to see what score I got. I mostly get 5s which is the highest you could get in third grade an so on. I don't feel rushed when i'm going to school but when school is just about to start I sometimes come late but nice blog.
False because sometimes there is a lot but sometimes it is easy. I like to do it quickly, so I don't have to do it anymore. It makes children think and they could understand it better. It could help people prepare for test or star test and even the S.A.T test. I also think that a lot of homework takes up time but most of it doesn't.
Yes, homework isn't the greatest thing in the world, but it helps you. I don't like homework either, but I still think it is important. For me, I don't like to rush on my homework and get the answers wrong, and do it really messily. I prefer to do it really neat and get the answers correct.
I don't really like homework but I wouldn't say it sticks eiether. I mean, if there wasn't any homework, I wouldn't be as smart as I am right now(and that is really smart:)) Plus, without homework, I would be very bored because I would have nothing to do. I sometimes think that homework can be a real stress.
I still remember that one night last year I worked straight past midnight. I was soooooooooooo tired that I had to miss school the next day! That was a really exhausting experience. Sometimes when I forget to either bring some thing home or finish something I feel really stressed during the night. Some researchers say that if a student is stressed the less they learn.
As most teachers say "Homework is good for you it helps you study what you have learned today." This saying has actually been proved to be right.

True. Homework does stink, but not in a smelly way. Its not that the homework is too hard, its that I don't want to do it. At my after school, many of my friends don't have as much homework as me so they can play. Then I am stuck doing homework, envying my other friends.
False. Even though I know everyone rather play than work, I think homework is good for you. It's not my favorite thing to do, but it is required to learn. If you don't jave homework, you may forget everything that you learned in class. Homework is just a refresher so you don't waste your time in class, learning nothing.
When I want to have homework, I barely get any. When I wish for a little homework, I have to rush and if not all homework is done, I start to have a stressed feeling and I do weird things like... well, I don't want to tell you. But hey, who says homework stinks? If you guessed that I was just about to... well too bad.

I am fine with homework as long as I have enough time to finish. Sometimes homework is actually fun. I like to blog and that is homework. Homework does not stink if you like it and a lot of homework we get is fun homework because we have two of the awsomest teachers in the school MS.McPheeters and Ms.Regison. Usually it depends on what subject is. I like math a lot so it is fun when I do math homework. I don't really like writing essays and long paragraphs so I don't have that much fun doing Language art Essays or summaries.

True, homework does stink a little...but I still like homework. I don't REALLY REALLY like homework, like some people do, but I still do it because I can learn a lot more. I don't go to homework club anymore because I use my time wisely. So far I have only been to homework club once because we didn't clean up for the science projects... :( But for not finishing homework or anything, I have not been to homework club once this year! Good job for the other people who haven't been to homework club too! For the people who have been to homework club, it's ok...you just have to remember to do your homework. :)

True or False? Is homework boring or does it make you learn more about that subject? I like doing homework when you can draw (missions), pick many different projects to do ( Social Studies Choice Board) or have homework that I already know and it's easy :D.
I don't like homework at all when it takes more than 3 hours to finish! I also dislike homework when I have too much! For example, three things in L.A., two things in Math, plus science and social studies too. The good thing about that is that we hardly get it! YAY!

Homework isn't the worst thing ever since without it, you won't get any practice with anything. I don't enjoy doing homework because... it can sometimes be really ANNOYING!!! If we get a fun way to do homework like doing projects of fun games, then I would enjoy it. Homework is like extra practice to do at home so I would't mind doing cxtra practice to get good grades. I just don't like too much homework.

Why have homework in the first place?
I don't think it improves your knowledge either. What ever is in the homework was probably tought in school that day. Instead of sepending your time at your desk, you could be playing outside or enjoying yourself. When you go home you should be looking forward to have fun, not being stuck at your desk until 8:00. Homework would be a little more fun if we didn't have so much and if it was not so boring.

False! It is just fine for me since first, it helps you memorize what you learned in class which makes it not tough since if you paid attention in class you it should be easy. Plus it helps you before tests and you can keep it and categorize it like PEMDAS homework and it makes you proud how much you have done. Which brings me to my last point, having pride in your work.Sometimes I feel lazy by how less others are doig so should I follow them. My dad told me don't compare with others whether you are good or bad always try do do your best and try to imrove yourselfno matter what.

My answer is false. Getting homework is necessary for students at school because they would understand concepts better. Compared to those who don’t get homework, the people who do are smarter and face fewer complications in going to colleges.
Homework is good for students’ learning. Children won’t forget the concept and maybe even understand it better.
Homework is beneficial in many other ways. Homework can review everything you did at school and prepare you for an up coming test. It also fills up some time after school, when you might be bored, and it is much better than playing or watching TV all day long.
Unlike getting homework, not getting homework is sad. You won’t be able to prepare for tests and will also get bad scores. You won’t be able to understand well and will lose a lot of your valuable time.

Annoying because you want to play and your school homework is done but!!!!! you have other hw to do. but!!!!!!!! hw takes up time, and if you love reading or anything else and hw takes the whole day, plus, you have classes on most of the days, you will have time to do hw but not what you love.
Good for the rest of your life because homework proves how much you understand the skill. For example, Ms. Regosin teaches us about 5/50 of the 50 states. She tells you California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, and Utah, along with their capitals. You can't memorize cuz it's too much( for example. this is not usually not true for the average student) You nod your head, pretending you understand. The next day you forget because Ms. Regosin didn't assign to memorize it as homework. You then have a test. You fail. You get bad scores. but!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you have homework, you have to get the correct answer so you wont get in trouble and you have to memorize it because it usually has 6 questions. If you dont, you will go to hw club and try even harder o memorize this info.

I don't really know if homework stinks or not I think home work is ok but to much homework is not that good because you might have to stay up very late that night and the next day at school you might not pay attention to anything.A little homework is enough for me just about one piece of homework from each subject is good for me.

I think homework is okay because I like Dynamath and science,but I don`t like any other homework.I struggle somtimes on my homework and get and get annoyed.So,I don`t know what to say.
