SUPER BOWL XLVIII
The
moment had finally arrived-- the Super Bowl was held in New Jersey on
February 2, 2014 the Seahawks from Seattle were to play against the
Broncos from Denver at the Metlife Stadium. Peyton Manning is the
quarterback for the Denver Broncos and Russel Wilson is the quarterback
for the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks won the toss and elected to kick
off to the Broncos. The football game was between the American Football
Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC).Kickoff
started at 6:32 pm. This was exciting to watch. During the game the
Broncos snapped the football when the quarterback was not ready.
Unfortunately the football flew into the end zone and the Seahawks
automatically got 2 points. This game had the quickest number of points
scored in football history. This was the first Super Bowl played outdoor
in a cold-weathered city. The Broncos trailed 22-0 at halftime and 36-0
during the end of the 3rd quarter. Many people got injured badly and
even broke some bones! The Seahawks got many fascinating touchdowns. The
Denver Broncos threw 2 interceptions and had several fumbles. At the
end of the 4th quarter the Broncos were not happy at all with the final
score 43-8. The Broncos had 8 and the Seahawks had 43. The Seahawk fans
were ecstatic that their team that they were hoping for won! Which team
did you go for? What did you predict the score will be at the end?

The moment had come. The Broncos probably thought that was the worst game of there lives. I thought the Broncos was going to win because they were the best team in the league. I thought the score was going to be 26-33.

As you know, iwasgoing for the Denver broncos and sadly they got crushed by the Seahawks. I thought it would be the opposite, and that the broncos would crush the Seahawks badly.

Cool blog! I was voting for the Seahawks. I thought it was going to be a close game. I watched the Super Bowl but your blog still told me things I didn't know.

Nice blog, Viraj! I was cheering for the Denver Broncos for 2 reasons. One was that the Seattle Sea-Hawks beat the SF Forty-Niners and the Second was that this year is the year of the horse and that Broncos are horses! I was OK with any score but I hoped the Broncos got at least 5 more than the Sea-Hawks but it turned out that the Sea-Hawks got 35 points more than the Broncos, which I expected but didn't want !!!
The Super Bowl was amazing! Who knew the Broncos' morale was down in the first quarter? I first cheered for the Broncos, but the Broncos couldn't win the Super Bowl. I wonder who will win Super Bowl XLIX?

I did not watch the Superbowl on Sunday, but EVERYBODY was talking about it on Monday, and I learned that the Seahawks won. I am not exactly a football fan. The Broncos must not have played very well if the Seahawks won them by 35 points. It is sort of sad that some of the football players got injuries, but I guess that is just how football is. Great job on your blog!

As you said, my brother and I were voting for the Seahawks. They won! I predicted Seahawks will win because Broncos failed in their offense throughout the game.
I thought that the score would be close but I knew that the sea hawks were going to win butt I dint know they would loose so badly.
Nice blog Viraj. I did not know that the Broncos lost so badly. I went to a mall at the time the Super Bowl was being held. The Seahawks won because their quarterback guessed the Broco's hand signal correct and knew what the broncos were doing.

I really loved hearing about such a big event. Usually most people say that girls aren't interested in football. I'm not exactly that kind of girl. I'm interested in football, but I never really watch it. Anyway to answer your question I was rooting for the Broncos. At first I wanted the 49ers to win but they lost against the Seahawks. To make things even worse at the end of the game they were talking trash about how they won. So then I wanted the Broncos to win. I didn't predict any score, but I still hoped the Broncos would win. Anyway, AWESOME BLOG!!

I'm not really a football fan so I just voted for both teams. I knew Seahawks won last game so I thought that the score would be around 40(Seahawks) to 20 (Broncos). Nice blog on the Super Bowl!
