USS
Midway

Hi classmates. The USS Midway is a military aircraft carrier. It was active in World War II,
Vietnam War, and Operation Desert Storm. The one I am talking about is the
leader ship of all of the ships. This ship is the only USS ship that survived
World War II. They even tested a rocket on the USS Midway. The USS Midway
joined the U.S Atlantic fleet. The USS Midway launched one plane that had the
first but last air-to-air battle. This event took place in Vietnam. In the USS
Midway there are many things that are cool! They have their own jail cell, lots
of bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. I like the old typewriters they used. On top of
the ship there were many planes and helicopters. Well I hope you can visit the
ship at San Diego the USS Midway. Thank You!!!!!!!!!

Wow! I never new only one ship survived the war.
The USS Midway, sounds interesting. I wonder why they have jail cells. How many people can the USS Midway hold? It must be huge because it has to hold people and planes which is a ton of weight.
I didn't even know about the USS Midway until now! That's cool how the ship was the leader of all ships. Was the ship an aircraft carrier? Maybe I will go visit it when I go to San Diego.
Dear Rahul,
That place sounds and looks amazing!! If I had a chance to go their, I would have tons of fun! I have never when their and never sean it before. Thanks for that wonderful blog and Bye!!
Hi Rahul,
That does sound like a very cool ship. I didn't know that warships had jail cells. I thought that they just had a room for all their prisoners. Also, why do most of the military ships from a while ago have USS before their names? I think it stands for United States something, but I'm not sure.
Hi Rahul,
Your blog was "interesting" to read about because I never knew about this so this is something new I've learned. When you visited the USS Midway could were you allowed to go inside or just see pictures? It was pretty "cool" (again) that this ship survived World War II, Vietnam War, and Operation Desert Storm.Someday I might as well visit the USS Midway.
Wow, Rahul! I wish I could visit the USS Midway!! I wonder what kind of weapons they had onboard? Were the bathrooms clean? Hopefully they were, because dirty bathrooms are a horrible punishment. What does USS stand for? When you say it launched the plane that had the first but last air-to-air battle do you mean it did the first and last or the first battle was the last battle.
Well thanks for listening/viewing, folks! >=)
Dear Rahul,
The USS Midway sounds intriguing. Someday, I would love to visit it. Instead of going on the USS Midway, I have slept on the USS Hornet. It was so big!
Sincerely,

Hi Rahul. Nice post :)!! I have never went to the USS Midway but I want to go to the USS midway but not in the jail cell. Do you know if anyone was put inside that jail cell? I like ships that are damaged because it gives you a flash back of when the ships where in war. Did you see any ships that were damaged or were all polished neatly? Bye and thanks!!!!

Just this winter break I went too San Diego and saw the U.S.S Midway! It is HUGE!And the ship is now a museum and has a cafe and you can stay over night on the Midway. They say that there are still the ghost of the soldiers that died in World War 2!
Nice post!

Rahul-
Your blog was very interesting. You had many details in it. The USS Midway must be very strong to withstand a rocket. Do you know how many planes and helicopters are on the USS Midway?

Wow! The USS Midway sure sounds fun. You know I love to learn about the past's history! When you wrote that the USS Midway launched a rocket, you really drew my attention to the topic.
I have a few questions to ask you:
1) What is the Operation Dust Storm?
2) Did you ride on one to the ships in the USS Midway?
