Black Friday- By Eric Wu

Hi everybody! Did you guys know that the Friday after Thanksgiving is Black Friday? Black Friday is supposed to be the start of the Christmas shopping season. It was originally called Black Friday because when everybody is out shopping, there are so many people so there are sometimes traffic accidents and even violence. Now, it is called Black Friday because the accountants at the stores use black pen to show profit and red pen to show loss of profit. The “black” in Black Friday is supposed to be mean a profitable day for the people at the store. On Black Friday, stores open extra early and give items really low prices, like 50% off and stuff like that.  Sometimes, people even camp outside the stores so they can be the first people to enter the store. I even read on the news that ToysR’Us opened at 10:00 P.M. on Thursday night! Isn’t that crazy? The things people do to get money! Well, enough about that. What do you guys think about Black Friday? Would you go and risk getting trampled if you had chance? Or would you stay home and watch other people trample each other on the news? Please tell us!

OF COURSE, I would not want to be trampled! I wouldn't want other people trample on each other either. If you do, I guess you are pretty harsh, isn't that right? How would you like it if someone would like to see you get hurt? Anyways, I didn't shop on Black Friday. Instead, I went to my cousin's house (the four storied one) and had dinner (and playing from day to night). We played WII, ate, we played board games in the up up up up stairs, we played hide and seek ( which I hid in the jacuzzi tub), and we played this incredible game called war. We first gather all the stuffed animals. Then we chose that the short people stay up stairs and the tall people have to stay downstairs. Unfortunately, I had to stay downstairs. Half of the stuffed animals go downstairs and the other half goes up. Then we throw up and down to see who could get the least stuffed animals on who's side. One hilarious thing that happened was that we all needed to go to the bathroom. So we all went. First, my friend sat on the toilet seat. Then we saw a miniature machine connected to the toilet. Then on the machine was a red button that said push. We didn't know what is was so we pressed it. As soon our fingers pushes the red button, water was spaying into my friends butt! How funny! Then the toilet seat started to turn warm and then wiggle. Thanks for reading this post (and it feels like I'm blogging)!

I would not take the risk because like 8 years ago at Walmart, the person who opens the doors, got trampled and killed because of the rush on Black Friday. My dad blew like 700 bucks on shopping.

Weeeell, if you give me a choice between getting trampled and shopping at Black Friday, then I'll probably go shopping =P. For me, I'll choose to stay near the middle or back of the line, because I heard that last year, the owner of a store and a pregnant lady died because they got trampled by people. So I'd rather stick on the safer side. But I really like Black Friday because the items get A LOT cheaper. You can even get prices 50% off!
