Summer Vacation!!!

Hey everybody! Summer has just ended and school has started. I am happy that school started, but I also wish that summer could be longer. Over summer I went to visit all my cousins in India! In India, I went to two places for a visit. One place was called Goa. That place is famous for it’s beaches. I went to another place called Puducherry. It is a French town in India. I had a lot of fun there. I was so beautiful and I went to see a lot of temples and churches. I mainly stayed in a place called Mumbai. That’s where all of my cousins live. I played a lot with my 9 year old cousin and also spent a lot of time watching Tom and Jerry. For my whole summer vacation, I was in India. What did you do over summer vacation? Did you have fun? I'm glad you had a fun vacation. Well, I had a fun time at Mt. Shasta. My dad took me to Crater Lake all the in Oregon. It was so cool!! I went to a Gift Shop and bought an aroowhead necklace kinda like Arjun's sharktooth necklace. The rest of the summer I did play computer,eat,watch TV, and read. Over all I had a Great summer.
Over my summer, I didn't really do that much. I went to Reno with as couple of my friends. It was really fun. There was this giant amusement park, that had a HUGE water park, a mini golf course, a bowling alley, and go-cart racing! We did the water park and the mini golf course. It was awesome! On the way back from Reno, we went rafting. It was my first time rafting, and it was so cool. We did level one, two, and three! Level three splashed so hard! We all were drenched from head to toe. The good part was that is was so hot outside, so the water felt really good. In level three, the guide let me ride the bull. That means that I got to sit on the front, tip of the boat and hold a rope really tight. So on the level three wave (which was HUGE!), I was sitting on the tip of the raft! It was really fun. I didn't fall of though! That was the end of the Reno trip. I also went Great America a few times with my friends. It was really cool. That's pretty much all I did for my summer vacation.
Hi Lynn!!! Nice post!! I went to New York and Washington D.C.!! It was so much fun!! In New York, we stayed in a HUGE suite. It was really sweet!! We also went to the Empire State Building. We went inside it and went all the way to the top floor. We went outside and it was windy!! It was cool!!! Our hotel was actually in New Jersey but there was a train station nearby and we took that train to go to New York. We even visited The Statue of Liberty!! It was so cool. We took a ferry from New Jersey. We first went to Ellis Island where there was a museum there. They had a whole selection of Barbie dolls from all over the world!! It was really neat. We had lunch in Ellis Island then took a ferry to go around The Statue of Liberty and then we took another ferry to go back to New York. It was really hot that time so we decided to relax and went to Starbucks for some water and some snacks. On the last day of New York, we drove from New York to Washington D.C.! It was really fun going from state to state. At last we arrived at Washington D.C.! We went to our cousins house to stay. On the day we arrived, at night after dinner, we went to this cool Downtown place in Washington D.C. Sure it was hot but it was really fun!! We had ice-cream while walking. The next day, we went to all the memorials and also to the airport to watch some planes. We were about to get some cupcakes from Georgetown(a place in Washington D.C. but instead we got a good lunch! We ate lunch at a beautiful water area and it was cool!! The next day after that, we visited some more memorials. The day before our flight, we went to all the museums. It was really hot!! There was a storm that hit and my cousin and my mom and I went in the rain. It was so much fun!!! Then, it was our flight. :( That is what I did over my summer vacation!! Hi Lynn!!! Nice post!! Hey Lynn! I went swimming in my backyard. It was not that fun because our pool was really small. I wish Summer would be longer too so I could spend more time with my family and go somewhere. In Summer, I went to Six Flags. It was really fun there. I finally rode a roller coaster! I just rode on the ones that go straight and fast. I'm still sort of scared to ride the ones that go round and round. I hope everyone else had a great Summer too!

I wish it would be longer to. I went to Legoland. It was lots of fun. when you went to India did you go somewhere different and was your nine year old cousin holding the remote tightly? If he didn't you could of sneaked it out of his/her hand.
During the summer vacation I went camping at sunset beach for three days. It was cold and windy during those days. I went with Andy in room 19. We went from 7/3-7/5/2010. When we went to the beach we caught some "bugs" that bury into the sand. We roasted them over a campfire. All in all, I had a great summer.
Hi Lynn, your summer vacation sounds exciting.I hope i had as much fun as you did.I went to Yellowstone for about a week. I got to see lots of animals like Deer,Elk ,Moose and Bison.I also saw a Black bear cub.It was really exciting.At home I went to see Intel Museum and got to do some interesting projects.
This summer I went to many places. First, my uncle came and I went to the Grand Canyon. It was really cool. There was so many layers of rocks of all sorts and kinds such as limestone. I also went to Disneyland. It was okay, but most of the rides were not so fun. Once I came back home I didn't really do much. It was my usual routine other than the fact that there was no school. This is what I did in my summer vacation.

I went to England the day after school ended.
America has a different time zone to England, there is an eight hour difference. I watched the movie Toy Story 3 twice. We stayed at my Aunty's house. Her garden is HUGE and is an ACRE, with a stream and woods. We saw about 8 DEER in total!
We stayed in England for four weeks and then went to Singapore for two weeks. We saw the movie Despicable Me in Singapore and visited all my cousins. We went on a Night Safari at the zoo and saw tigers, deer, rhino's and hyena's. Also my cousin, my brother and I went on a elephant ride, which was really cool!

During the summer, I didn't have much fun. As usual, I spent most of my summer at home. I did play with my brother sometimes though. The bad part was whenever we played with each other, they usally ended up in fights. As a result, I guess you gould say I didn't have a much of a summer.
It is great to hear that you are enjoying your summer, Lynn. But I have a question. If the place you went is French, why is in in India? I got many information from your trip to India. I liked the way you supported your topic. It would be better if you added a picture or made the blog a bit longer.
This summer my grandparents, cousin and aunt were here. We had an awesome time together. We went to many places such as Raging Waters, Los Angeles, and San Fransisco. I really enjoyed their visit. In LA we went to beaches every day except when we reached and when we left. We also went to a pool. Some of my other cousins live in LA. In the pool we had a few races and my sister and three cousins threw me up into the air. In La we played games like Life, Cranium, and Pictionary. We didn't actually finish pictionary but it was still fun. As you can see I had an awesome summer.
What I did over the summer vacatin was I went camping at Yellowstone and Lake Tahoe. First, I went to Yellowstone it was AMAZING we saw all these animals Bison,coyote,black bears and more. We also saw a lot of geysers they were very stinky!!!!!!!!!my friend (she came with us) said it was the sulfur stinky!!!! We also went to Old Faithful and we saw it erupt water was bursting into the air it was so cool!!Also, we went to lake Tahoe.We set up our camp and had a B.B.Q with our friends that came.The next day we went to the beach and got soaking wet.We were trying to throw Andrews shoe (my brother) away from Andrew me and my sister were on a team and we were trying to throw the shoe away from Andrew and our dad. Once my sis threw it at me and I almost caught it then it was hard to run in water so I tripped and fell in the water and got soaking wet then I threw Andrews shoe at my sister and she fell in the water and got soaking wet then my dad stole the shoe.After the beach we went to change in the car to change we were shivering badly when we were in the car.After the beach we went back to the campground and stayed there for the day.The next day we said we saw horseback riding places so we took off to find one it took us like an hour to finally find one then when we went to sign up for it we had to wait two hours because the list was full.After two hours we went back to the horesback riding place and we went back the horseback riding place and got our horses my sisters horses name was Abenego and my friends horses name was Ruby and my horses name was River Her color was white and my sisters color was also white and my friends horses color was black and white. When we were set we took off and started riding they taught us how to ride the horses so then we went we were riding when my siser and my friends horse pooped we had to stop and wait for my sister and my friends horse to stop then we started riding.When once the guide stopped us to ask if we were doing good ( it was a trail ride)my friends horse didn't want to stop so it went close to my horse and sniffed my horses butt.then a while later my hore stopped for alittle bit but i kicked it and it kept going after a while later my horse pooped but i didnt notice because it was walking just right but then my friend told me because she was right behind me.We were riding when the guide told us to go around the tree but my sister couldn't get her horse to go around the tree so she went right through it and her hat fell off so then we had to stop andget it. after horseback riding we went home because it was our last day. And when we got home we spent the rest of our summer vacatin at the pool,wached tv,played with frinds.And thats what I did over the summer vacation.
Well, my family had a great time as well as me, during summer. My family did not go anywhere, but I did. I went to Disneyland and Seaworld with my cousins. First, I liked Seaworld because there this new sight place that was called Trained Dolphins.When we went Seaworld I, went to every single restaurant with my cousins, because we only had to pay $25.00 per kid and adult to get free food all around Seaworld. Next, was Disneyland. When went
there, my little cousins were right next to me the whole time I was in Disneyland. It was really annoying! Anyways,these are all the places I went to in Disney Land and Seaworld. I had lots of fun this summer!
Over the summer vacation I went to a Summer Camp that was not bad because I went there last year and I met many old friends. I played computer and did the normal thing you would do on a weekend day.I also started my second year in my orchestra. It was okay, but it was kinda boring. I was going to Taiwan this year,but my parents said that it costs too much so we shouldn't go in the summer. We go to Taiwan anyways so it doesn't really matter. I also played volleyball with my sister so she could get better because she is already on Varsity team which is a good team in High School.
This summer I went to Las Vegas!It was so hot in Las Vegas I felt like I was going to melt. We stayed in the Venation. It was really fancy and there were a ton of chandeliars and other fancy stuff.We took a look at the Mandalay Bay and in Ceasar's Palace I got my sharktooth. My favorite place was a go-kart racing place the go-karts are so fast,when you crash into someone you go spinning in circles and you feel like your going to fall out of the go-kart. I also went to the Bellagio,the Volcano, and the Secret Garden. If you were close to the Volcano you would start sweating and in the Secret Garden we saw tigers, dolphins, and we were luckyto see a lion awake and roaring. The rest of the summer I was relaxing and ejoying my wonderful summer.
Hello Lynn! I did many things this summer. First, I went to a chess camp for one week in the mornings only Monday thru Friday. The chess teachers assigned us a partner to play a match against each other. Next, I went to a swimming camp for four weeks in the morning. We dived for getting rings from the pool floor, jumped into the pool and swam two laps non stop. Then, I went to the Tech Museum camp. I did video game design and advanced lego class there. Last, I went to Monterey Aquarium. I saw many types of fish, penguins, and flamingos. I had a great summer!
Over the summer I had tons of fun. For the first week my grand parents stayed over so, we did not go to many places. The next month I went to summer camp. We went on field trips such as Great America, some swim place, Tech Museum, and the Junior Olympics. Did you know that I ran 50 yards in 11 seconds? The next week I stayed home with my mom for 3 days. The following days I went to the Childrens discovery Museum, the Santa Cruz beach and the California Academy of Sciences with my family. As you can see,I had a fantastic summer!
I'm glad you had a great vacation. Well, I had a lot of fun in Bug Sur. I got to stay up there for one WHOLE week! It was great, except on the way up it was squishy in the car with all those supplies. We got to ride to the beach it was great. Besides that week I stayed home most of the time. After all that fun, this was a TOTALLY awesome summer!!!

During my summer vacation, I went to a lot of summer camps. I went to a few water parks like Aqua Adventure, Raging Waters, and Water World Water Park. It was fun! I also went to my friends' house to play. Even though I did not go to any other places, I still had fun.
During the summer I went to Lake Tahoe. I saw many scenic views of the Lake Tahoe. I wanted to go swimming in the lake, but my parents said the water was too cold. So we swam at our hotel, Peppermill. It supposedly has the nicest pools in Reno. There were three pools. One is a big hot tub that looks like a pool. Also, our hotel room is facing the pool. So, I had a lot of fun.
Hi! { I think I'm doing this blog a second time just in case I didn't write the word verification for my first blog.} Guess what I did over the summer?! I went to Singapore like Collete! We first went to Jurong Bird Park. You get to feed the lorikeets some weird drink thingy. Their talons are really sharp. One of them landed on my arm and my first thought was OUCH!!!! Lots of birds landed on my dad, including his head! One of the green lorikeets landed on my youngest sister and then she shook her arm {so the bird flew off} and then started bawling like a baby!! { Hee, hee, hee!} The next day we went to the Singapore Zoo! One of my most favorite animals was the white tiger! It was right in front of me and it was standing still! { My mom said we were very lucky because the white tigers are usually sleeping.} At 4:00 I rode on a elephant! I sat on the front and I actually felt the elephant's hide! It was very hairy and itchy! After that day I went to the Night Safari. Then we went to a Water Park! It was my favorite place in Singapore! I went down a huge slide that was pitch black so I didn't know which way I was going. It was the teeniest bit scary. Then went to China! It was even hotter than Singapore! And then we flew back to U.S.A! { The movies on the airplane are really cool like Alice in Wonderland, Shrek Forever After, The Karate Kid, and so on.} This was all I did over the Summer!
Summer was fun for me too. The workers remodled our one story house in to a two story house. Then we moved all our stuff in. You have no idea how tough it was to get to school on time for me. It was a 10 minute drive at least to get to school. After we moved back in our house, my mom told me it would be hard to get late now. We also walked our neighbor's australion shepord. Summer was great!
That sounds like awesome summer! I didn't go to India this summer, but I did go to many other places in the USA. First I went to whale watching in Monterey Bay. It was awesome! I saw two small sea otters, blue whales (it was huge), Minke whales, Humpback whales, some seals, and at the very last moment I saw dolphins. Those were chasing the boat. I also saw humpback whales breaching (jumping). I went to Yosemite National Park. When I was entering in the park I saw a dead deer on the road. I felt very sorry for it. I got to see some waterfalls and creeks. I also went to Shasta Cave, Lassen Volcanic National Park, Lake Tahoe, and San Francisco. All in all I explored northern California. I had a wonderful summer.
Hi Lynn I did lots of stuff in the summer vacation like..... I went Boardwalk in Santa Cruz I went to lots of other places but meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee right now is toooo lazy.Ok fine my dad right now said that what ever we are reading in science we are going to go to.Like Mt. Shasta in the science book it said it.
Hi Lynn I did fun stuff at summer vacation. I also wish summer last longer. To start with, I sat on a plane and went to Mexico with my family. Next, I went snorkeling and saw a shark. Good thing it did not see me. I also saw jellyfishes. My brother got stung, but not me.To end this, Me and my family went home.

For summer, I just went to a few summer camps. I went to Camp Galileo at Walter Hays School. It was really fun. I got to build model airplanes. I also got to paint an Egyptian mask that we made. Another camp I went to was ID Tech Camp at Stanford University. I got to program characters on a program called Scratch. I also got to eat in the cafeteria! I felt that I was a college student! Finally, I went to Tech Know How camp at Ohlone Elementary. We got to make our own computer games. I made new friends. As you can see,I had a great summer!
Of course I had fun.I also invited my cousins over. We went to yosemite for two days. There was cabin we rented that was near a lake. We also climbed u the rocks in yosemite falls. We went to Reno,nevada. The exact hotel we went to was Atlantis,it was really fun. there was an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor pool. there was a casino so it was really loud.
I also went with one of my little brother"s friend who"s hotel was right next door from our hotel.
